Director-general of BADEA satisfied with the “remarkable progress” of Burkina Faso

The director-general of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), Sidi Ould Tah, welcomed, on Friday, with the “remarkable progress” in Burkina Faso, in spite of an international environment difficult.

Speaking at the end of a meeting with President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, Sidi Tah is said to have followed the guidelines given by the head of State burkinabe about how to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between BADEA and Burkina Faso, but also on the prospects of this cooperation, especially in the priority sectors to which it co-operation should be oriented.

He also indicated having expressed to the President burkinabe all the support and follow-up of the BADEA and the other sister institutions of the Coordination Group of Financial Institutions Arab emirates in the implementation of its National Plan for Economic and Social Development (PNDES).

The BADEA promises to support Burkina Faso in various sectors such as roads, water, microfinance, entrepreneurship and female youth employment.
