Cape Verde leads the list of 18 countries and places that the tv channel the north-american CNN recommends people to visit and spend their holiday in the year that now begins, Wednesday in Praia.
“The archipelago of 10 islands – about 570 kilometers (350 miles) west of Dakar – mix unspoiled beaches and outdoor adventure with a unique culture and home,” says CNN.
In an article published on the website of the television station, are highlighted also the music, the volcanic peaks and beaches as attractions for tourists who decide to visit this african country whose official language is Portuguese.
One of the recommended places to visit is Old Town, a world Heritage site on the island of Santiago, for being the place where they were to the navigators Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama.
