The Official United Nations Police, Unopol, Moreno Montenegro spoke to the UN News about the overall objectives and prerequisites of the training.<\/p>\n
“Develop the capacity of the sectors at a strategic level for the police to be more democratic, more responsible, more professional and representative of the communities of Guinea-Bissau. This is a cross-cutting issue and demand for the fulfillment of the police mission also basic knowledge of the human rights of the citizen and the legislation of Guinea. ”<\/p>\n
Reflection practical<\/p>\n
Specialized personnel of the sectors of the police reform, human rights and the rule of law in the office of the UN in the country are teaching modules with a focus on the rights to demonstration, meeting and assemblies. The modules include the right to life and liberty.<\/p>\n

“We hope that by the end of this course, which is already the second session, we have ai 50 new focal points within the police and to the sector reform, Uniogbis to work together, teaching and assisting in the development of these operational plans and that are reflected in society and that the society realize that the police are increasingly professional”.<\/p>\n
